Rubber end caps for chair legs need a supporting region beneath the point where each leg stops. The visible outer height does not show how much material remains under that end.
Consider what the leg reaches inside the cap. If it stops against a local projection rather than the designed seat, contact can concentrate within the rubber while the outside still looks normal. A correctly shaped cavity lets the end bear where the base is intended to support it.
Inspect a used cap from inside when it is removed. A deep impression, cut or thinning beneath the leg can reveal wear before hard material becomes exposed at the floor. Compare the pattern with the end shape and address any damaging feature before fitting another part.
Choose a replacement with the required cavity and remaining base thickness, maintaining the chair's installed contact height. An externally taller cap is not necessarily a thicker support. Keep the contact surface clean in service and check the internal wear area if the chair begins to sit differently despite an apparently intact outer wall.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A correctly shaped cavity lets the end bear where the base is intended to support it. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
