Match the attachment and installation method
A mushroom silicone rubber hole plug combines a wider head with a body developed for the receiving opening. The head can provide an accessible stopping and handling area, but it needs clearance from neighboring parts. A head trapped beneath hardware may prevent the plug from seating as intended.
Custom dimensions, hardness and color allow the profile to follow the application. Select the silicone formulation for the actual temperature, duration and medium. The body contact and head position should be evaluated through the expected thermal cycle.
During installation, align the plug and confirm its seated depth without forcing the head against an obstruction. Check that an accessible area remains for the intended removal method. Any sealing requirement belongs to assessment of the complete closure arrangement. After removal, inspect the junction beneath the head for tearing and examine the body for uneven contact marks. If the plug repeatedly becomes difficult to handle, review the head clearance and fit rather than relying on a sharp tool to free it.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
