A hemispherical rubber mount can provide a custom rounded contact for shelf protection. Its height determines when the adjoining surface first reaches the rubber, while the base size and attachment determine how it is supported. Develop those dimensions around the complete shelf arrangement.
Check the contact position with the shelf installed. A rounded mount that is too tall can alter how the shelf sits, while one too low may allow rigid surfaces to meet first. Evaluate the shape under the intended use so the working contact remains on the supported region of the mount.
Choose the finished compound for the surfaces and cleaning conditions. Keep grit away from the curved face and inspect it for off-center wear. Check the base for displacement before refitting or replacing the component. Matching the diameter alone does not guarantee the same contact height. If damage is uneven, review shelf alignment and the position of neighboring supports before using another mount to compensate for the mismatch.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The height determines when the adjoining surface first reaches the rubber, while the base size and attachment determine how it is supported. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
