A rubber mount with metal parts can be custom molded for a support or bumper interface. The metal features establish attachment to the assembly, while the rubber region provides the intended flexible contact. Define both interfaces together so the rigid connection does not prevent the rubber from moving as designed.
Check alignment before fastening. The mount should not be twisted or pulled sideways to make the metal parts reach their mating positions. Review clearance around the rubber at the expected working movement, including any rigid feature that could contact neighboring hardware.
Select the finished compound and metal arrangement for the actual load and environment. Evaluate behavior on the complete equipment rather than assigning a damping value from the construction alone. During inspection, look at the transition between rubber and metal for damage or separation and examine the contact face for uneven wear. A replacement needs matching attachment geometry and working height. Correct local interference if repeated damage develops beside a metal edge or at one side of the mount.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The metal features establish attachment to the assembly, while the rubber region provides the intended flexible contact. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
