Self adhesive silicone rubber bumpers are straightforward components, but their shape should be chosen around the contact they will receive. A broad support under a product, a small closing stop, and a pad beside a moving cover do not necessarily need the same height or footprint. Defining that job first helps avoid adding rubber where it interferes with the final assembly.
Check the available bonding surface and the amount of compression or clearance needed. The adhesive must suit the substrate and service conditions, while the silicone profile must remain supported under the intended contact. Keep exposed edges away from likely snagging during handling.
Prepare the substrate and fit each bumper in its planned position without stretching or repeated lifting. Assess the assembly after the bond is ready, checking both normal contact and the movement used to reach it. During care, clean the contact face and inspect the adhesive perimeter. If the bumper repeatedly shifts, review placement and load direction before selecting another part with the same outline.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
