Match the attachment and installation method
A clear bumper pad adds a small rubber contact between parts that would otherwise meet directly. The transparent appearance can reduce the visual prominence of the pad, while the 3M adhesive backing allows attachment to a suitable surface. Custom size and shape can follow the available contact area.
Locate the point where the parts actually meet before applying the bumper. The pad should receive contact on its face rather than on an unsupported edge. Thickness affects the final spacing, so check that adding the bumper does not prevent a door, cover, or other mating part from reaching its intended position.
Clean and prepare the bonding surface for the chosen adhesive grade. Avoid touching the adhesive or trapping dust beneath a clear pad, where contamination may remain visible. Apply it evenly and follow the required bonding conditions before use. During cleaning, remove dirt around the pad without levering its edge away from the surface. Replace a loose or damaged bumper and check whether the contact position has shifted before fitting another one.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
