Adhesive rubber foot pads create flexible resting points on a product base without requiring a separate screw at each location. To form a stable support arrangement, the pads need suitable bonding areas and consistent seating. A pad partly overlapping a recess can sit differently from another bonded to a flat portion of the same base.
Inspect the underside before placement and choose positions that the structure can support. Check the complete equipment weight and nearby protrusions, then establish the layout before removing the backing. Clean the mating areas appropriately and avoid touching or contaminating the adhesive during installation.
After fitting, place the product on its intended surface and check that all pads participate in support. If it rocks, examine base geometry and pad seating rather than adding layers casually to one corner. During use, sideways dragging can stress the adhesive and roll an exposed edge. Inspect after relocation and remove grit from the contact faces. A pad that has lifted or shifted should be replaced with attention to the original cause of movement.
