Match the attachment and installation method
Conductive silicone buttons need the underside contact region aligned with the intended circuit location. The visible top may fit a panel opening while the contact beneath it sits slightly off center, so both interfaces should be checked in the assembled switch. The locating features should hold that alignment without restricting the flexible movement of the button.
Define travel and the support below the part, including clearance when a user presses near an edge. Select the external shape and markings around the intended control function. Keep the conductive area clean during handling so assembly residue does not become part of the switching interface.
Test the completed switch with its actual electronics and housing fastening condition. Verify actuation and release through the range of presses relevant to normal use. If the button behaves inconsistently, inspect alignment, contact condition, and enclosure interference before replacing it. Avoid improvised conductive coatings or abrasive treatment, which can alter the contact geometry and material that the original switching arrangement was designed to use.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The locating features should hold that alignment without restricting the flexible movement of the button. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
