Product Overview

A neoprene rubber O-ring is a custom circular seal whose section is compressed within a defined mating space. It can be developed for industrial equipment or enclosure sealing where the joint dimensions and neoprene formulation suit the operating conditions. Ring size and color are customizable.

The groove controls where the rubber can move as the joint closes. Its width, depth and adjacent clearances matter alongside the ring diameter. A larger section can fill more space, but it can also prevent closure or push rubber toward an unsupported gap. Establish the ring and groove as one arrangement rather than increasing section size to compensate for an uncertain fit.

During installation, keep the ring relaxed around its seat and avoid rolling it over sharp edges. Inspect the entire circumference before closing the joint, since a short displaced section can remain hidden once the assembly is together. Select neoprene for the actual fluid, exposure and temperature conditions. When servicing the joint, clean its groove and check the mating surfaces as well as replacing any damaged rubber.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
