Product Overview

A silicone O-ring or washer for bottles should fit the sealing feature of the selected bottle and closure. A round-section ring and a flat washer require different seating geometry, so the intended profile must be defined before the dimensions are chosen. The custom component is developed around that complete closure.

Review where sealing contact occurs as the cap or other closure reaches its intended position. The rubber should remain supported and correctly located rather than roll out of a groove or bunch beneath the closing surface. The inner opening must also leave the required bottle passage clear. Evaluate repeated opening and closing with the actual mating parts.

Material selection should reflect the contents, contact duration, and any cleaning or heat treatment used with the bottle. Silicone alone does not establish suitability for every content or processing method. The finished closure needs assessment under those conditions.

Keep the seal and its seat free of residue before reassembly. If a removable ring is taken out for cleaning, return it without twist or a trapped edge. Replace a cut or permanently distorted part with the specified profile. Substituting a flat washer for a ring, or changing thickness to tighten a loose cap, can alter the intended sealing arrangement.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. The rubber should remain supported and correctly located rather than roll out of a groove or bunch beneath the closing surface.
Custom dimensions
A round-section ring and a flat washer require different seating geometry, so the intended profile must be defined before the dimensions are chosen.
Fit & assembly
A silicone O-ring or washer for bottles should fit the sealing feature of the selected bottle and closure.
Use & inspection
If a removable ring is taken out for cleaning, return it without twist or a trapped edge.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
