Product Overview

Gaskets for bottle closures provide a rubber sealing element between the cap and its mating surface. The custom ring dimensions should follow the receiving seat, including the cross section and the space available when the closure is tightened. A flat washer profile and a round O-ring profile require different support geometry.

Check where the gasket is retained inside the closure and how it meets the bottle rim. The rubber should remain located during opening and closing without twisting or falling into the container. A gasket that is too thick can prevent the cap from reaching its intended position, while an undersized section may leave insufficient contact.

Choose the specific silicone compound for the contents, temperature, and cleaning routine, together with any applicable food-contact requirements. Keep the ring and its recess clean before assembly, removing residue from beneath the gasket. Inspect the seating after fitting and evaluate the complete bottle closure under its intended storage and handling conditions. Replace a damaged ring with the matching profile rather than substituting one that only has a similar overall diameter.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. The rubber should remain located during opening and closing without twisting or falling into the container.
Custom dimensions
The custom ring dimensions should follow the receiving seat, including the cross section and the space available when the closure is tightened.
Fit & assembly
Inspect the seating after fitting and evaluate the complete bottle closure under its intended storage and handling conditions.
Use & inspection
Keep the ring and its recess clean before assembly, removing residue from beneath the gasket.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
