Product Overview

Custom durable bumpers should be developed using the actual contact pattern of the industrial device. A broad contact face, an angled approach and repeated sliding each load the rubber differently. The intended service conditions help determine the useful shape and compound.

Dimensions, colors and material options allow the component to match the mounting space. Define the attachment and available compression without relying on the bumper to correct a misaligned mechanism. The opposing surface should be included in development, especially where an edge or seam reaches the rubber first.

Evaluate representative cycles and inspect the resulting marks. A recurring cut at one side may indicate a rigid edge, while uniform flattening can reveal how the contact height changes with use. Keep debris away from the working surface and check that the mount remains secure. During replacement, review the condition of the opposing component as well as the rubber. A new bumper will be exposed to the same local damage if the contacting edge or alignment is left unchanged.

Material options
Rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. Define the attachment and available compression without relying on the bumper to correct a misaligned mechanism.
Custom geometry
Dimensions, colors and material options allow the component to match the mounting space.
Fit evaluation
Evaluate representative cycles and inspect the resulting marks.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; part identification clear of mounting seats and loaded faces.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly

04

Produce & inspect

Manufacture and check against the approved requirements

Review the intended assembly

Working conditions

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.

Material and structure

Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.

Installation

Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
