Product Overview

A heat-resistant rubber washer needs a temperature requirement based on its contact location. Nearby metal can carry heat into the washer even when the surrounding air is cooler. A brief hot contact and a prolonged warm condition also create different exposure histories for the selected compound.

Identify the parts touching each face and consider when they are hottest during the operating cycle. The washer may continue receiving heat after another part of the equipment has stopped.
