Product Overview

NBR rubber thin washers provide custom sealing layers where the joint has limited thickness available. The small section needs careful positioning so the part lies flat and covers the intended contact area. Its inner and outer dimensions should follow the mating surfaces rather than rely on stretch to stay in place.

Review the washer through the closing sequence. A thin edge can fold or shift unnoticed as the adjoining part is fitted. The seat or assembly method should keep it centered until the joint reaches its intended position. Extra washers should not be stacked to correct a gap unless the assembly was developed for that arrangement.

For oil contact, select the NBR configuration around the actual fluid, temperature, and exposure duration. The complete joint determines its operating capability. Keep the mating faces clean and avoid sharp tools against the thin edge. During replacement, inspect the old contact pattern and the seat for a localized defect that could damage the new washer in the same place.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
