Small rubber step bushings include a change in profile that can locate the component relative to its mating parts. The step position, diameters, and overall length need to follow the intended assembly. Custom dimensions allow the shoulder and sleeve region to be developed together.
Identify which surface the step rests against and how much of the sleeve passes beyond it. A bushing may fit the opening but stop at the wrong depth if that shoulder position differs. The center passage also needs to accommodate the pipe or other intended component without distorting the outer fit.
Choose the material for the actual contact conditions and guide the bushing into place in its intended orientation. Check that the shoulder sits evenly rather than folding at one side. Use the assembly's designed support and fastening arrangement. During maintenance, inspect the transition at the step and the passage ends for damage. A replacement should match the full stepped profile instead of being selected from the largest diameter alone.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
