Match the attachment and installation method
A small rubber mount with screw attachment needs enough space for the thread to engage without interfering with components behind the receiving surface. The screw length, available depth and rubber working height should be defined together. A thread that fits can still be too long for the assembled product.
Custom silicone or other rubber materials, dimensions and color options allow the mount to follow the device. Define the load direction and how the hardware is tightened. The rubber body should not be used as an uncontrolled grip for twisting the attachment into place.
Evaluate the completed mounting with the actual surrounding parts installed. Check rear clearance and inspect whether fastening has compressed or distorted the rubber beyond its developed position. During operation, the supported component should retain its intended movement space. During maintenance, examine the threaded connection for loosening and the rubber for permanent lean or extrusion. Repeated damage near the screw may indicate an installation or load alignment issue that should be corrected before another identical mount is fitted.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The screw length, available depth and rubber working height should be defined together. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
