A custom rubber damper with M8 screw combines a nominal M8 fastening interface with a molded flexible body. The screw must fit the receiving assembly, while the body dimensions establish the working space and installed separation. Both are needed to select a suitable component.
Begin with the position the mounted part must occupy. The screw axis and the rubber contact area should support that position without forcing the adjoining parts out of alignment. The required engagement length depends on the actual mounting stack, and the connection should seat on its intended surfaces. Thread size does not replace an assessment of the rubber under the application load.
Check clearances after fitting and securing the hardware. A larger nearby washer or bracket can restrict the body's deformation if it overlaps the working section. Material and color may be customized around the equipment. During replacement, preserve the specified body height and shape as well as the M8 interface, since a different rubber profile can change the final alignment despite using the same thread.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The screw axis and the rubber contact area should support that position without forcing the adjoining parts out of alignment. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
