Silicone wine bottle caps need a fitted relationship with the particular bottle neck they close. The mouth, outside neck profile, and available engagement length can differ between bottles, so the custom cap should be developed around the actual container. Its removal area should remain accessible above the neck.
Identify whether the selected closure engages outside the neck or uses an inserted portion. Those forms require different dimensions and should not be chosen by the visible mouth width alone. Check how far the closure reaches before its exterior meets a shoulder or another feature on the bottle.
The precise silicone formulation must be appropriate for beverage contact and the intended cleaning conditions. A bottle closure is a separate configuration from a sink stopper and should not be transferred from that unrelated use. Fit the cap using its designed handling area and inspect the contacting surface before reuse. If it becomes difficult to remove, examine residue and engagement before pulling a thin edge harder. Replace damaged rubber with the bottle's matching profile rather than altering the neck contact by trimming it.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The mouth, outside neck profile, and available engagement length can differ between bottles, so the custom cap should be developed around the actual container. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
