Custom silicone function keypads organize a product's controls into a molded interface. They can be adapted for remote controls, automotive panels, or industrial equipment, with color and marking options used to distinguish the intended functions. The keypad layout should reflect the way those functions are used together.
Consider which keys are operated frequently, which sit at the edge of the panel, and which need clear separation from neighboring controls. Button shape and spacing can support that arrangement, but the underlying switch positions must remain coordinated with the visible layout. A changed legend should not conceal an inconsistent physical or electrical position in the assembly.
The housing needs to locate the rubber sheet while allowing each moving area to travel freely. Evaluate the completed control panel using successive presses across the function groups and at the accessible edges of larger keys. Printed, embossed, debossed, or colorfilled identification can be selected for the intended appearance. Choose the silicone formulation for the actual exposure, and clean the key edges without damaging the flexible sections that allow each control to return.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Button shape and spacing can support that arrangement, but the underlying switch positions must remain coordinated with the visible layout. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
