A silicone gasket forms a custom compressible seal between mating surfaces. The outline and thickness can be developed for the joint, while the exact compound must suit the expected temperature exposure. In a food-contact application, the contents and cleaning conditions belong in the same selection.
Consider the highest temperature at the gasket and how long it remains there. The joint may experience different conditions during production, cleaning, and cooling. A general high-temperature description does not establish that every silicone compound is suitable for the complete cycle or for all food-contact uses.
Check that the mating faces support the gasket continuously and provide the intended compression. Install it cleanly without stretching the outline or trapping an edge near a fastener. Follow the joint's assembly sequence so pressure is distributed as designed. Inspect the complete seal under its operating conditions, and examine the rubber after service for damage or permanent deformation. A replacement should restore the original profile and selected compound rather than compensate for an uneven or damaged mating surface.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
