Custom molded silicone seals and gaskets can follow joints that do not suit a simple standard ring. The molded outline should include the features needed to locate it and maintain a supported sealing path. An irregular shape still needs a practical assembly method that preserves its relaxed geometry.
Identify the reference points, narrow transitions, and any openings that must remain clear. The gasket should not be stretched between locating features merely to make its outside edge fit. Consider how the enclosure approaches the part, since a sliding or angled closure can move the rubber before compression is established.
Check position before completing fastening and evaluate the assembled joint under its specified conditions. During servicing, lift the gasket from appropriate supported areas rather than pulling on one thin section. Inspect for folds, tears, and a lasting change in shape before reuse. If damage repeatedly occurs near a particular locating feature, review that fit or removal method instead of assuming that a new gasket of the same profile will avoid the problem.
The gasket photos illustrate structure and material only. ETOL's factory can customize silicone and rubber seals around your flange or groove, coordinating non-standard outlines, openings and cross-sections with the closed joint.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
