Product Overview

High temperature bellows provide a folded flexible cover for an assembly where heat and movement occur together. Their dimensions and material can be customized around the attachment points and the region being protected. The operating temperature belongs to the selected compound and exposure conditions, while the fold geometry determines the available movement.

Identify where the heat reaches the bellows. Radiant exposure from one side, contact at an end fitting and warm air around the whole part can create different conditions. Leave suitable clearance from adjacent hot surfaces rather than using a fold as a rubbing contact against them.

Measure both the extended and compressed positions of the mechanism. A compact bellows still needs space for the folds to gather without being pinched. Check the end alignment so normal movement opens the folds evenly instead of stretching one side much more than the other.

ETOL offers custom size, color and compound options. Evaluate the fitted cover through the intended motion and operating cycle, including the return to its resting position. During maintenance, inspect the sides facing the heat and the roots of the folds for changes in shape or damage. Remove accumulated material from between folds before it limits movement. Release the attachments before taking the bellows off so servicing does not place unnecessary pulling force through its flexible wall.

Material options
Rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. High temperature bellows provide a folded flexible cover for an assembly where heat and movement occur together.
Custom geometry
Leave suitable clearance from adjacent hot surfaces rather than using a fold as a rubbing contact against them.
Fit evaluation
Measure both the extended and compressed positions of the mechanism.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; identification clear of folds and end connections.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
