Match the attachment and installation method
A rubber seal ring/washer for a warm installation needs its compound selected around both heat and chemical exposure. EPDM and FKM are different material options, and the appropriate choice depends on the medium, temperature cycle, and required contact conditions. The custom geometry can then be developed for the joint.
Consider the full operating cycle, including warm-up, sustained operation, cooling, and cleaning. A seal may encounter different substances during maintenance from those present during normal use. Those conditions should be combined with the required hardness and compression when selecting the formulation.
Dimension the ring from its functional seat. The inside opening, outside boundary, and section thickness determine whether the rubber is supported when the mating parts close. Install it without twisting or pinching the edge, and use the assembly's intended closing method. During maintenance, examine the contact area for lasting deformation or damage. A replacement should match the specified material as well as the visible dimensions, since an apparently identical ring may behave differently in the same environment.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
