Match the attachment and installation method
An oil resistant rubber washer should be selected for the actual oil and temperature at its joint. EPDM and NBR options need to be evaluated for their specific service conditions rather than treated as interchangeable materials. The fluid can include additives or residues from cleaning, so the relevant exposure is the mixture that reaches the finished washer.
Match the face dimensions and thickness to the supporting surfaces. The washer should receive the intended compression without spreading into an unsupported gap or blocking a passage. Include changes in the joint gap during operation where heating or movement affects the contact.
Install on clean mating faces and keep the rubber centered as the joint closes. During maintenance, inspect for swelling, hardening, cuts, or material pushed beyond the seat. A changed oil specification is a reason to revisit the compound choice even if the washer dimensions remain correct. Preserve the selected formulation in replacement parts so the fit and material response remain coordinated at the same connection.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
