Silicone rubber feet provide custom support points beneath a product or piece of equipment. The molded dimensions can match the mounting area and the intended clearance from the supporting surface. Where the base becomes warm, the material choice needs to include the conditions at the feet themselves.
The temperature beneath an enclosure may differ from the surrounding room. Consider the operating cycle, nearby heat sources, and the way the foot is attached. An adhesive or other fastening element needs to suit the same environment if it is part of the design.
Check the load distribution and installed height across the complete set of feet. They should support the base evenly without blocking intended airflow or service access. Fit the parts onto clean mounting areas and inspect the equipment in its normal operating configuration. A general heat-resistant description does not establish a universal temperature or load rating. During maintenance, look for deformation, loosening, or damage and replace feet with matching geometry so the original clearance and stance are maintained.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
