A high temperature rubber gasket should be specified for the conditions at its actual sealing location. A nearby machine temperature may not describe the gasket's exposure during startup, normal running, or cooling. Select the silicone formulation and joint geometry using the relevant temperature cycle and the substances that reach the contact surfaces.
Check the closing gap and support around the whole sealing path. The adjoining components may change dimensions differently as they heat, affecting compression. Thickness should suit that designed space rather than be increased simply to make the cold assembly feel tighter.
Fit the gasket flat on clean faces and protect narrow regions from being dragged during closure. Assess the complete joint through its operating cycle. During service, inspect for persistent deformation, cuts, or material pushed out of its seat. If leakage occurs only at a particular thermal state, examine the changing gap and support alongside the gasket condition before selecting a replacement with a different section.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
