A silicone washer provides a round rubber layer within a custom assembly. Its inside diameter, outside diameter, and thickness should follow the receiving faces and available compression space. For a high-temperature application, the compound must suit the actual conditions at the washer rather than a general equipment temperature.
Consider the duration of exposure and any changes during cleaning, operation, or cooling. The adjoining parts may transfer heat directly into the rubber, so the local contact conditions matter. The selected silicone compound also needs to suit the medium present at the joint.
Install the washer flat on clean surfaces and keep it centered while the assembly closes. Avoid forcing an unsuitable section into the available gap through extra tightening. The complete joint determines the required sealing or spacing performance under its operating conditions. During maintenance, inspect for cuts, permanent flattening, and damage to the mating faces. A replacement should restore the original profile and selected compound so the intended contact remains consistent throughout the use cycle.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
