Mounting feet for chair legs can use a washer-shaped rubber component where the chair's fastening arrangement requires a central opening. This differs from a sleeve that encloses the leg: the fixing hardware and leg end must locate the ring and keep it in place as the chair moves.
For a Buna-N option, consider the actual floor environment and cleaning exposure when selecting the compound. The material name does not determine whether the finished foot will mark every type of flooring. Evaluate the chosen rubber on the intended finish, including the effect of grit that may collect beneath the chair.
Check that the screw or retaining feature remains recessed as required so it cannot become the floor contact after the rubber compresses. Fit the feet to a consistent installed height and inspect for looseness after repositioning the chair. A ring squeezed out around the fastener may no longer support the leg evenly, even if the screw itself remains tight.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
