Mounting feet with metal sheet features combine a rubber contact section with a rigid sheet element. The metal can form part of the attachment or support arrangement, depending on the chosen design. Its outline and orientation need to agree with the equipment base so the foot is supported as intended.
Check where fastening forces enter the assembly and which surfaces are supposed to remain separated by rubber. A protruding sheet edge should not unexpectedly touch the shelf or floor as the rubber compresses. The rubber compound also needs to match the environment; SBR and NBR are different choices rather than an assurance that one foot suits every exposure.
Seat the reinforced part without bending the metal during installation. A distorted sheet can leave uneven contact or concentrate force along an edge. Inspect accessible metal for corrosion and the adjoining rubber for separation during maintenance. When replacing the foot, preserve the sheet position and installed thickness so the equipment does not acquire an unintended tilt or new rigid contact point.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
