Match the attachment and installation method
A silicone rubber grommet with conductive metal combines a molded body with a metal feature whose role must be defined in the assembly. The metal geometry and its relationship to the rubber should match the intended connection; its presence alone does not establish grounding, shielding or a current-carrying rating.
Develop the part around the panel opening, mating hardware and required contact arrangement. Select the silicone formulation for the environment and any specific project material requirements. A broad environmental description does not identify a particular sustainability property or certification for the finished configuration.
Evaluate both the mechanical seating and any intended electrical function in the complete assembly. Check that installation does not force the metal feature against an unintended edge or distort the surrounding rubber. During maintenance, inspect the interface for movement, damage or changed contact conditions. Replacement should preserve the specified metal geometry and molded profile together rather than selecting a visually similar rubber part with an unspecified insert.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Develop the part around the panel opening, mating hardware and required contact arrangement. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
