A small rubber buffer provides a compliant stopping surface within an industrial device. Its custom profile should cushion the intended contact while allowing the component to reach the position required for normal operation. The available range of molded shapes makes it possible to adapt the buffer to a narrow or irregular mounting area.
The end position should be assessed with the buffer installed. A thicker contact face may reduce hard contact but can also leave a cover, latch, or other adjoining feature out of alignment. A very thin face may be fully compressed before it can provide useful separation. The chosen geometry needs to balance the contact gap and the amount of deformation expected in the assembly.
Keep the retaining area secure so that repeated contact does not gradually displace the part. Inspect the buffer after the equipment has been operated through the relevant movement, paying attention to its seat and exposed edge. A loose or cut buffer should be replaced with the intended shape rather than supplemented with an unrelated pad that changes the final position.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
