Rubber feet for electronics need to fit the product's base without interfering with its other functions. A custom silicone profile can follow the available seating area and provide the intended stand-off above a desk or shelf. The useful height is the projection below the finished housing after the foot is attached.
Check the neighboring features before choosing the footprint. Screws, removable covers, and openings may limit where a support can sit. A recess can locate the foot, but its depth must be included when comparing overall heights. The attachment should keep the foot seated as the product is picked up and repositioned.
Evaluate the complete unit with its normal accessories connected, since cables may apply a small side force or change its balance. A support designed for another object, such as a ladder, is not automatically suitable for an electronic enclosure. Keep the contact surface clean and inspect for loose or missing feet before allowing the housing itself to become a support point.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
