Match the attachment and installation method
Molded small rubber silicone caps can use different colors to distinguish locations or configurations in an assembly. The color scheme should be linked to each cap's fitting profile so similar parts remain identifiable without replacing the dimensional checks that establish their fit.
Develop the body, exposed head and retained depth around the intended opening. Select the material for the contact and environment, with custom shape and hardness supporting the required handling method. An external color match does not show whether two caps have the same underside.
During assembly, keep the designated versions separated and inspect the seating of each fitted cap. If a piece sits differently from the others, compare it with its assigned opening before applying additional force. During servicing, clean removed closures with a compatible method and examine their retaining edges before reuse. Replace damaged caps by configuration rather than choosing whichever spare looks closest in color and visible head size.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
