Product Overview

A rubber washer for sealing provides a custom circular contact layer between mating parts. The central opening and outer profile should match the receiving assembly, while the thickness suits the intended compression. The washer needs to stay centered as the parts are brought together.

Check any locating shoulder or recess that helps position the rubber. Without suitable alignment, a washer can partly overlap the opening or shift toward one fastener. The mating surfaces need enough supported area so the rubber does not deform into an unintended gap.

Place the washer flat on clean surfaces and inspect its position during fastening. Avoid stretching it to reach a feature or applying extra force to make an incorrect thickness fit. Evaluate the complete joint under its intended operating conditions. During maintenance, examine both the rubber and receiving surfaces for damage, using a replacement that preserves the designed section and contact area rather than concealing a worn seat.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
