EPDM rubber solid stoppers can be custom molded for an opening whose environment includes heat exposure. Select the finished EPDM compound according to the actual temperature, duration and contacting medium. The closure profile should still match the opening's working seat and the space available behind it.
Evaluate the stopper under the conditions it will encounter rather than checking only a room temperature fit. Repeated heating and cooling may be part of the application, and the assembled closure should be assessed through that sequence. Ensure the exposed area remains suitable for the intended handling method.
Before installation, clear the mating surface of burrs and residue. Fit the solid body without puncturing it or forcing it past an internal obstruction. During maintenance, inspect for a changed shape, surface damage or a seating position that differs from the intended one. Review material suitability and local exposure if these changes recur. Greater insertion force should not be used to compensate for a stopper that no longer maintains its designed profile.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
