A silicone button rubber keypad provides flexible controls in a custom molded layout. The visible caps need to fit their housing apertures while the membrane and underside geometry align with the switches. The clearance around each cap determines whether the control can move freely in the assembled product.
Check the exposed height and the space around the moving surface. A taller key can rub at its side if the opening is tight, while a low key may be difficult to reach behind a raised panel edge. The backing and switch positions also need to suit the intended travel.
Fit the membrane without trapping its stationary edges, then test every control after securing the case. Include presses from the normal finger angle and near neighboring keys. Keep the underside clean during handling and select the compound for the actual environment. If the keypad feel changes after servicing, inspect the seating and housing alignment before assuming the molded part is at fault. Gentle surface cleaning should preserve the free movement and any visible function identification.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
