A silicone rubber mount with metal sheet can be customized for an equipment contact or support location. The sheet and its attachment geometry should suit the supporting face, while the rubber body provides the intended bumper profile. The assembly needs both a correctly positioned rigid interface and sufficient room around the flexible region.
Check whether the metal sheet sits naturally against its support. Uneven contact or a misaligned fastening arrangement can pull the rubber into a distorted starting position. Review the space around the bumper under its expected movement so the sheet does not introduce an unintended hard contact.
Select the finished rubber for the load, media and temperature at the location. Assess any cushioning or vibration role with the complete equipment; this construction should not be assumed to contain hydraulic damping. During maintenance, inspect the rubber near the sheet and the attachment for damage or movement. Clean the support before replacement, and preserve the working profile rather than selecting only by the visible rubber outline.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The sheet and its attachment geometry should suit the supporting face, while the rubber body provides the intended bumper profile. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
