Rubber damping mounts introduce a compliant connection at an equipment support point. Their purpose is to influence how movement passes between the supported equipment and the surface or structure beneath it. For an appliance or electronic assembly, the useful result depends on the complete support arrangement, including the number and position of mounts, the equipment mass and the character of the movement.
Start a design review by identifying where the load acts. The weight may not be divided equally between every support, particularly where a motor, power supply or other heavy component is offset. Provide the support spacing and the estimated load at each position, together with the normal operating condition. If vibration changes with operating speed, describe that range so the sample can be evaluated under representative conditions.
ETOL offers custom geometry, dimensions, hardness and material for this product family. These choices affect how the mount deforms and how it fits into the equipment. They should be considered together rather than selecting hardness only by touch. The available product information does not establish a universal vibration reduction percentage, and a softer mount is not automatically the most suitable option for every assembly.
Install rubber damping mounts without introducing unintended rigid contact around the flexible section. Check fasteners, spacers and nearby housing edges to ensure the intended movement is not blocked. Observe the equipment during starting, normal operation and stopping, and confirm that cables or connected pipes do not become an alternative path for force. During servicing, look for permanent deformation, splits and movement at the attachment point. A useful inquiry includes the mounting drawing, equipment mass distribution and a description of the vibration concern. With that information, the sample review can focus on the behavior of the assembled support rather than the appearance of a loose rubber part.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Provide the support spacing and the estimated load at each position, together with the normal operating condition. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
