Conductive silicone function key buttons can be custom molded for the control positions of an electronic product. The operating face, flexible section, and contact arrangement need to align with the housing and electronics. Where the design also needs moisture protection, the retained perimeter must be considered as part of the assembled interface.
Support the button base without restricting the region intended to move. A local clamp point can affect travel, while an uneven outer seat can leave an unintended path around the rubber. The shape and material should therefore be developed with the complete enclosure rather than only the visible key face.
Evaluate operation after final assembly. Check intentional presses from the positions users are likely to approach, and confirm that the button returns fully without remaining against the contact. Device-level protection depends on all relevant joints and openings and should be assessed under the intended conditions.
During installation, keep conductive regions free of contamination and ensure the button is correctly located over its circuit position. If the housing is reopened, restore the original seating arrangement before checking operation again. Clean the exposed surface using the finished product's intended care method.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
