Match the attachment and installation method
A natural rubber buffer/damper should be selected according to when it carries force in the assembly. A continuously loaded support differs from a bumper contacted only at a defined position. Custom molded dimensions and material can follow that intended role once the load path is established.
Check the working face, attachment, and available space for movement. The rubber should remain supported where force enters it without another hard surface making contact first. Its formulation needs to suit the actual temperature and substances at the location.
Use the equipment's specified installation arrangement and evaluate the complete mechanism under normal conditions. During care, inspect the contact pattern and connection for damage or persistent movement. Replace with the matching geometry and compound rather than choosing another rubber body solely because it fits the same footprint. Preserve the original role and working position, and inspect neighboring parts if recurring uneven wear suggests that the contact relationship has changed.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The rubber should remain supported where force enters it without another hard surface making contact first. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
157 sizes with a male stud at each end. Compare body diameter D, body height H, thread size and projecting stud length L.
