Match the attachment and installation method
Rubber feet with metal sheet reinforcement need to match the equipment's attachment surface in both shape and orientation. The rigid section may occupy more space than the visible rubber contact face, so check its full outline against adjacent screws, ribs and base edges before fitting.
The chosen arrangement should make clear where the metal bears and where rubber remains between adjoining surfaces. If an unintended rigid edge touches the support, it can change how force passes through the foot. NBR and EPDM formulations also address different environmental needs; select the compound around the expected contact with moisture, cleaners or other substances.
Keep the reinforced foot flat during assembly instead of pulling a mismatched sheet into position with the fastener. Distortion can concentrate pressure along one edge of the rubber. After installation, inspect the equipment at rest for even contact. During maintenance, check exposed metal and the nearby rubber together, as corrosion, loosening or separation can affect the mounting relationship even before the floor-facing surface wears through.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
