Neoprene rubber washers place a compliant annular layer within a hardware or joint assembly. Their inner diameter, outside diameter, and thickness can be customized to the supporting faces. For vibration related use, the amount and direction of loading determine how the installed washer behaves.
The hardware stack should establish the intended compression without cutting into the rubber. A narrow bearing face or a sharp edge can concentrate force locally, while excessive tightening may restrict the movement the rubber was meant to accommodate. Evaluate the washer with the actual fastener, supporting parts, and available clearance rather than judging it as a loose ring.
Choose the neoprene formulation for the surrounding temperature and contact substances. Inspect the assembly for unintended rigid contact that bypasses the rubber interface. After operation or disassembly, look for uneven deformation and changes in the seating position. A washer used as a gasket also needs a separate assessment of its sealing contact; a suitable vibration interface does not automatically establish the performance required at a fluid boundary.

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
