An oil resistant rubber washer provides a compliant ring at a joint exposed to a specified oil or related fluid. Its dimensions and compound can be customized around the mating faces. Material selection should account for the actual substance and operating temperature, since different rubber formulations do not share identical compatibility.
Identify whether contact is continuous, occasional or mainly encountered during servicing. Also include cleaning agents that reach the joint. The washer's inner opening and outside footprint need support from the mating geometry so the rubber remains in its intended position under compression.
For a sealing application, assess the complete joint with the selected washer rather than relying on material choice alone. Fit it flat and keep grit off the contact faces before closing the assembly. During maintenance, inspect for changes in shape or surface condition and compare the compression pattern around the ring. If a replacement is needed, preserve both the formulation and thickness. A ring that fits the same shaft but changes the closed joint spacing can alter the seal even when its oil compatibility is appropriate.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
