A PCB circuit silicone keypad should be evaluated with the board supported as it will be in the finished device. A board held loosely during a bench trial can move when a key is pressed, changing the apparent travel and response. The keypad and its supporting structure therefore need to be checked together.
Identify the board mounting points and the space beneath the key contacts. Confirm that the front housing does not force the rubber toward a bowed or misplaced board. Where keys are spread over a wide area, evaluate those between mounting points as well as those close to a support.
Custom key structure, hardness, color and marking are available from ETOL. The approved operating response should be established in the assembled configuration, not by adjusting the feel while the board is free to move.
During fitting, keep the contact side clear of foreign material and secure the board using its specified mounting arrangement. Operate the keys after closing the housing and look for differences across the layout. If behavior changes when a fastener is tightened, inspect the stack of components and available clearance before changing the keypad geometry. This helps distinguish a support problem from a molded-key problem.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
