PCB silicone keypads operate within an assembly where the rubber, circuit board and front panel must maintain a defined relationship. The custom key layout should align with the switching positions after the board is secured, not only while the parts rest loosely together. Board support and keypad location should therefore be checked at the same stage.
Fit the pad into its intended locating features and inspect beneath its moving regions. Mounting hardware or a loose wire should not occupy the key travel space. Secure the board as intended, then bring the housing together without stretching the rubber to reach its openings. Check key heights at rest and test the full layout after closure. A local change near a board fastener can indicate spacing or support rather than a problem with the visible button. During maintenance, preserve the evaluated mounting arrangement and clean debris away before reassembly. If the response changes after the cover is tightened, reopen the unit and inspect the fit instead of applying further pressure to make the key work.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
