Protective rubber feet provide replaceable contact points beneath furniture when their attachment and shape match the receiving base. A chair leg, a narrow rail and a recessed mounting point can require different profiles. The rubber should support the intended structure instead of an unsupported decorative surface.
Check the installed height and contact area alongside the floor finish. The selected material needs evaluation for that finish and the expected cleaning exposure. A soft rubber face does not prevent trapped grit from marking the surface beneath it.
Fit the complete support arrangement and assess the furniture for steady contact. If one foot sits differently, inspect its seat and receiving shape before adding another layer underneath. During routine care, remove embedded particles and look for wear that exposes a hard fixing or leg edge. Replace using the intended profile so the furniture retains its designed support height and does not rely on a loose or uneven contact patch at one corner.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
