A pull through rubber grommet uses its custom profile to locate in a cable opening during a pulling installation. The critical moment is the final engagement, when the retaining section reaches the panel and must settle into its intended groove without being dragged too far.
ETOL can tailor the structure, dimensions, material, hardness and color. Establish the insertion direction and accessible handling area before fitting the wiring. The rubber should be supported by its designed assembly features rather than by the electrical conductors passing through it.
Apply a controlled pull and stop to inspect the flange as it engages. Excess force can roll a lip through the opening or stretch the narrower section while the outer face appears seated. Check that the cable is free of unwanted tension once the grommet has relaxed. If the rear of the opening becomes inaccessible later, complete this inspection before the next component is installed. During servicing, release nearby cable supports before attempting removal so the entry is not pulled against a restrained harness.
