A Small cable sealing grommet cushions a compact wire entry and creates a defined contact around the cable. In a crowded automotive arrangement, the main challenge may be seeing whether the tiny flange has engaged correctly after the harness is routed.
Plan the fitting sequence while the opening remains accessible. Seat the rubber first where the design allows, then pass the lead through without turning the rim inward. ETOL can customize the dimensions, structure, compound, hardness and color, including features suited to the available assembly space.
Use the cable's finished jacket size when selecting the passage. Small changes from wrapping or a label can matter at a close-fitting bore. Keep the adjacent clip from pulling the lead sideways, and inspect the completed contact before fitting covers that hide it. Evaluate any sealing duty with the actual wire position and panel surface. During service, take care when withdrawing the cable; a compact grommet can follow it out of the hole unnoticed and remain caught farther along the lead.
