A Rubber Cable Grommet Seal provides a shaped interface between a cable and its panel opening. When the cable is replaced, the new jacket may differ in diameter, texture or flexibility even if the electrical role stays the same. The existing rubber therefore needs a fresh fit check.
Compare the replacement cable's finished covering with the bore and examine the mounting groove for damage from removal. ETOL can customize the profile, dimensions, material, hardness and color if the revised arrangement requires a different entry. Keep cable labels and thicker terminations outside a contact section designed for the ordinary jacket.
Fit the cable without stretching the grommet against its supports, then inspect the inner and outer contact areas. The seal should remain seated when the lead is connected to the rest of the assembly. Evaluate the required sealing duty with the new cable in place rather than relying on the previous configuration. Remove residual debris from the passage, and replace a worn or torn component instead of reusing it merely because the flange still covers the panel hole.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. When the cable is replaced, the new jacket may differ in diameter, texture or flexibility even if the electrical role stays the same. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
