This rubber cable harness grommet is offered with 8 mm and 20 mm size references. Compare those nominal sizes with the complete profile, identifying the cable opening and exterior footprint before selecting a version for the assembly. The panel hole and groove width still require independent matching.
The rubber cushions the harness where it crosses the cutout, keeping the cable jacket or wrapping away from the edge. ETOL offers customized structure, compound, dimensions, hardness and color. Check the harness in its finished form, including wrapping that remains at the crossing, rather than measuring only the loose conductors.
Plan the sequence for passing any connectors through the panel. A connector may fit the bare cutout yet be too large for the grommet opening after installation. Avoid using excessive stretch to overcome that difference. Once the harness is secured, inspect the retaining region around the panel and make sure the route has not pulled it sideways. Record the complete fitted dimensions for later replacement instead of relying on the abbreviated size label.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The rubber cushions the harness where it crosses the cutout, keeping the cable jacket or wrapping away from the edge. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
